JS Ag Packaging

JS Ag Packaging is a 75,656 square foot concrete tilt up consisting of a 70,560 square foot warehouse and a 5,096 square foot office.  The warehouse has 11 total roll up doors, 9 of which are elevated dock doors.  Design Build methods were used for Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical scopes of work.

Cintas Processing Plant

Cintas is a 60,000 square foot concrete tilt-up building with a 12,000 square foot office space and a 48,000 square foot laundry processing facility.

Nusil Phase 5

In constructing our fifth building for NuSil Technology, LLC, W&S is building approx. 31,000 sq. ft. of H-2 High Hazard space used to manufacture various silicone rubbers for medical and aerospace applications.  The project also consists of a 3 station truck dock, an 8 tank storage farm, and a Liquid Silicone Rubber process frame estimated at approx. 250,000 lbs. of structural steel.

Operations Joint Facility in Shafter, CA. W&S extended ¾ mile of infrastructure and roads to develop the facility. The facility combines several of their smaller facilities into one large consolidated operation. The new joint facility consists of 13 separate structures built of concrete tilt up, cast in place, pre-engineered steel buildings, and steel silo structures for both frac sand and bulk cement blending along with a rail spur, 42 acres of concrete paving, an Acid Plant, Concrete Blend Plant, automatic Truck Wash, Fuel Station, Sand Plant, Vehicle Maintenance facility, RA Source Storage Facility, Welding Building, Gun Load Bunker, 9,000 Sf of state of the art testing laboratories and 66,000 square feet of offices. A 350KW Bloom Energy Solid Oxide Fuel Cell was installed as an alternative energy source.

California Paper

Built for Maryland Paper Company (Mathew Chakola), manufactures industrial paper for 15 and 30 pound asphalt roofing paper.  The site includes a 5,682 square foot office, a 48,700 square foot warehouse, and 40,329 square foot papermill. The last 117 L.F. of the production building is built out of stainless steel to prevent corrosion.

Weatherford Corod Facility

Weatherford’s COROD continuous rod is one of the leading well optimization solutions for reciprocating and progressing cavity pumping (PCP) applications.  Weatherford contracted with Wallace & Smith for a complete design build turnkey solution.  Situated on 10 acres, with over 110,000 square feet of Pre-Engineered Building, the project consisted of rail spur for raw material receiving, central offices for production and quality control, manufacturing lines and final product storage and staging. Wallace & Smith constructed the site, building, set all production equipment, implemented and commissioned all PLC control working closely with Weatherford engineers, with final turnover of a working and fully functional facility in 7 ½ months.
